Now ‘they’ are ashamed to question EVM

The Congress came to power after the assembly elections held in the South Indian state of Karnataka. This has certainly given the Congress the support of a straw to drown. However, in the four-day power struggle to reach the pinnacle of power in Karnataka, former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah won. If studied politically, it would be said that the victory of Congress in Karnataka is not unexpected, because it has been the political history of Karnataka for a long time that no government has been re-elected there, so this victory of Congress is attributed to the conservatives. If said, no exaggeration will be said. Even after this, a communication of enthusiasm has arisen among the leaders of the shrinking Congress across the country.

Some political analysts have also started presenting this victory of the Congress in the form that the Congress has stopped the growing steps of the BJP in the South. How true this is cannot be said, but it seems that the Congress may have got a great delusion that it is becoming invincible. However, it cannot be denied that the manner in which Congress leader Rahul Gandhi toured India and took out a yatra sent a good message to the workers. But it is not fair to say that it has stopped the BJP, because at the same time local body elections were held in Uttar Pradesh, in which the Bharatiya Janata Party captured all the mayoral seats. That’s why looking at the elections of Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh from the point of view of national politics would be considered as deluding oneself.

We know that after every election questions are raised on EVMs. If the BJP wins, then the demand for removal of EVMs from the elections would also arise. But after the victory of Congress in Karnataka, there is no sound of any kind on EVM. Everyone’s mouth is taped. For a long time, the opposition parties have been alleging that the BJP has been winning with the help of EVMs. We know that the opposition is only avoiding the victory of the BJP, they cannot digest the victory of the BJP, whereas in Delhi and Punjab, the Aam Aadmi Party got full support. Even after this, it cannot be said that the mass base of BJP and Congress has ended there.

We will remember that after the 2014 Lok Sabha election results, most of the leaders of the opposition parties raised questions on EVMs in one voice. Then, to answer these questions, the Election Commission had called all the political parties to show the EVMs by hacking them. At that time, none of the politicians who protested much reached the call of the Election Commission. That’s why now after the victory of Congress in Karnataka, no questions are being raised on EVMs. Because everyone knows that these questions have no solid basis.

As far as BJP’s victory in Uttar Pradesh’s local body elections is concerned, everyone has started accepting that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s way of working is different, he does not hesitate to call bad things bad. The people of Uttar Pradesh are liking this style of Yogi. Yogi Adityanath has broken the illusion of many myths because he has faith in his work. In Karnataka, where the Congress government is being formed, on the other hand, in Rajasthan, the Congress leaders are fighting against the government. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot came in the role of Mouni Baba and sat down with cotton in his ears. Congress youth leader Sachin Pilot is barking to break his silence. This step of Sachin Pilot sounds alarm bells for the future of Congress in Rajasthan. Sachin Pilot has played the bugle by marching.
