Stuntman, actor and stunt director Oleg Vasilyuk, who starred in ‘Streets of Broken Lights’, has died aged 79. This was reported to TASS by stunt director Oleg Korytin.
“A wonderful stuntman and an amazing stunt coordinator, it’s a shame he left us,” Korytin said.
According to him, Vasilyuk approached stunt work very thoughtfully, he had his own approach.
The artist’s cause of death is not known.
Vasilyuk was born on December 30, 1944, was a stuntman for the Lenfilm studio, starred in films and TV series. He has dozens of films to his credit, including “Streets of Broken Lights”, “National Security Agent”, “It’s Hard to Be a God” and others.
Earlier, film and theater actor “Lenkom” Vladimir Kuznetsov, known for his roles in the films “Battle for Moscow”, “Juno and Avos” and other works, died. The artist died at the age of 79.
