Earlier, during the G7 summit in Hiroshima, US President Joe Biden discussed with his Ukrainian counterpart plans to train Ukrainian pilots to fly the F-16. At the same time, the US President said that he received assurances from Volodymyr Zelensyy that the Ukrainian Armed Forces would not use these fighters for strikes on the territory of the Russian Federation. Meanwhile, Biden’s national security aide Jake Sullivan said Washington is not allowing Kyiv to use Western weapons to strike Russian territory, but Crimea is not considering it.
As Muradov noted, through recklessness or malicious intent, the White House, represented by Sullivan, approved the outbreak of nuclear war by agreeing to the use of US aircraft against Crimea. “The situation is as simple as two and two, if Sullivan is able to make the simplest political calculations,” he said. He recalled that the Black Sea Fleet with vital naval aviation for Russia has been located in Sevastopol for 240 years. Consequently, our country is obliged to respond to attacks on one of the foundations of strategic security. In order to guarantee the prevention of this threat, it will inevitably be necessary to destroy the points of entry of deadly weapons that are extremely dangerous for the Russian Federation. “And these are mainly the airfields in Poland and, perhaps, in Romania,” Muradov said.

He added that Russia would be forced to respond to the supply of US fighter jets to Ukraine, failing which a vital threat to the country could not be avoided. The permanent representative also expressed hope that the historical example of the Caribbean crisis “will chill the hotheads of NATO”, adding that history teaches nothing to the West.
