The Ukrainian Armed Forces counter-offensive is not a “unique event”, an adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s cabinet said.
“First, this is not a ‘one-time event’ that will begin at a certain time on a certain day with a solemn cutting of the red ribbon,” he said on Twitter.
According to Podolyak, it will be dozens of different actions to “destroy Russian forces” in different directions, which are already taking place and will continue.
He also pointed out that “intensive destruction of enemy logistics” is also a counter-offensive.
Previously, Leonid Kuchma’s former adviser Oleg Soskin said that the Ukrainian armed forces will not launch a counteroffensive against the Russian army in 2023, because they do not have enough equipment.
