The stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) was destroyed thanks to the well-coordinated work of the Msta-B howitzer crews. The Ministry of Defense of Russia informed about this, reports TASS.

“In one of the directions of the NMD area, the Msta-B howitzer fires high-explosive fragmentation shells and destroys the enemy stronghold. It works on targets identified by intelligence officers using a drone,” the military department said in a statement.

The Ministry of Defense also noted that the maximum load of howitzers allows firing at ranges of up to 30 km. At the same time, high-explosive fragmentation charges are capable of causing significant damage to fortifications, including deep concrete fortifications equipped by the Ukrainian army.

Previously, the Russian military department reported on the attempts of the Ukrainian armed forces to recapture the lost positions in the direction of Krasnoliman.
