Voting has started in the second round of presidential elections in Türkiye. As noted by the Minister of Justice of the country Bekir Bozdag, the elections are held without violations.

“According to the information received at the moment, no negative situation has been registered since the start of the vote,” the minister said in a statement to RIA Novosti.

He noted that he himself had voted for “a stable and peaceful future for the country”.

According to the forecast of the Turkish Ministry of Justice, a high voter turnout is expected today.

“I expect high activity,” Bozdag said.

Let us recall that in Turkey it was not possible to decide on the choice of the president at the first attempt: in the first round on May 15, none of the candidates was able to obtain the support of 50% of the voters, although Erdogan was in the lead throughout election day.

An analysis of the results of the first round showed that Erdogan secured majority support in the central and resort areas of the country, Kilicdaroglu excelled on the west and east coast.
