On the morning of May 31, a day before International Children’s Day, Chinese President Xi Jinping visited the Yiying School in Beijing. He met teachers and students there and wished children across the country on Children’s Day. Xi Jinping stressed that children are the future of the motherland and the hope of the Chinese nation. He said that adolescence is the golden period for improving the quality of health of the people. Physical exercise is the most effective way to increase the physical fitness of children. Family, school, society, etc. aspects should create conditions for strengthening the body of children. This was followed by a visit to the farm built in the Xi Jinping School, which is a practice place for students to carry out agricultural planting activities. Xi Jinping pointed out that a lot of knowledge and principles come from labor and life, watching the students do farming.
We should guide students from a young age to establish the concept of labor, develop labor habits, and improve their ability to work, so as to help them learn knowledge better.
