India vs Australia, WTC Final 2023: When, where, at what time the final match will be played, know everything

India and Australia are all set to clash with each other for the ICC World Test Championship title. Both the teams will face each other on June 7 at the Oval ground in London.

Australia topped the WTC points table in 2021-23 with 66.67 points percentage (PCT) in 19 Test matches, while India beat the Kangaroos 2-1 in the recently concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy to make it to the final.

India had lost the WTC final in the year 2021 against New Zealand. This match was played at the Rose Bowl ground in Southampton. New Zealand won the first title of the World Test Championship by defeating Virat Kohli’s men by eight wickets.

Some highlights of the playing conditions of the WTC final-

In case of a draw or a tie, India and Australia will share the title. 12 June 2023 is Reserve Day. It can only be used to compensate for loss of playing time due to weather. On-field soft signals have been abolished by the umpires for the WTC final.

The final match of the ICC World Test Championship between India and Australia will be played with Grade 1 Dukes ball. The matches will be held from June 7 to 12. This title match will be played at the Kennington Oval Stadium in London, the capital of England. The match will start at 3:30 PM ENG time (11 AM IST). The match can be watched live on Star Sports on TV and will be streamed live on Disney+ Hotstar.
