On June 8 at 11:00 a.m., the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation will hold a round table on the topic “Cooperation between the free economic zones of Russia and China”.

The organizers of the event are Boris Titov, Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs’ Rights to the President of the Russian Federation, the Russian-Chinese Committee for Friendship, Peace and Development and the Sinoruss Limited Liability Company.

Free Economic Zones (FEZ) exist almost everywhere in the world. These zones help stimulate the country’s economy, expand foreign economic relations, attract foreign capital, improve regional policy, stimulate business development and modernize industry. There are more than a dozen free economic zones in China and Russia.

Against the background of the active development of cooperation between our countries, which accelerated its momentum in 2022 and continues to improve in 2023, the interaction between the areas of Russia and China is of particular importance. Cooperation can not only help strengthen relations between countries, but also give new impetus to the development of SEZs and attract more companies and projects.

Often, company representatives do not have enough information about the opportunities and prospects for setting up in free zones, such as tax incentives, exemption from certain duties, ease of logistics, customs preferences , and much more, thus strengthening cooperation between these territories. located in Russia and China is particularly important.

In this regard, the roundtable will address topics such as:

Presentation of the opportunities of the free zones of Russia and China; Prospects for the development and strengthening of cooperation between the SEZs of Russia and China;
Date and time of the round table: June 8, 2023, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
