How and where did your research begin?

Larisa Dokuchaeva: In the 1990s, I created a laboratory at the Institute for the Development of Regional Education in the Sverdlovsk region, in which we dealt with issues of educational psychology. I was interested in questions of the influence of heredity and environment on the formation of individual characteristics of a person. Psychogenetics then answered them. Later, based on it, as well as on the basis of psychology, genealogy, systems theory and other sciences, my husband and I developed a rodology which studies Gender as a system and its influence on the individual characteristics of the offspring.

When we began to apply the rodological method in practice, as a result of the analysis of materials, we came to the long-term consequences of repressions, dispossessions, deportations and wars. These were our very first studies, which we published in conference proceedings in the 1990s.

Why did you even do something like that?

Larisa Dokuchaeva: Why does a person study natural phenomena? To be able to control the laws of the world in one way or another.
Rod interested us as a system. It is important to know the mechanisms by which it develops. Even genetics is considered here. Each of us inherits a certain set of qualities. One part of them is activated by the environment, the other seems to be dormant and wakes up only under certain circumstances. For example, a talent inscribed in the genes of the ancestors becomes active in one of the descendants. The influence of heritage is also found in negative actions.

Neither scientists nor religious figures deny this. Each person is part of the tribal system and carries everything he took from his ancestors. He manifests this heredity with habits, a character, emotions, fears and a way of reacting.

  • In this case, many might really like to know how their family affects the fate of a person.

Larisa Dokuchaeva: According to genetic studies and according to our statistics, everything that happens to you, everything that happens to you, leaves a trace that is actively manifested for three or four generations. That is, with a person living today, the same can happen with some of their specific ancestors. Either he will experience the same feelings, emotions, sensations. A certain pattern will be repeated, including in several other versions, as a kind of law. Hence the expression “what is written in the family”.

  • So you mean that there is a kind of ancestral memory?

Larisa Dokuchaeva: Of course. Remember how, before the revolution, the nobility cared about the purity of the family? Before marriage between famous families, their pedigrees were carefully studied. Why? To prevent bad heredity. After the 1917 revolution, many genealogies were lost. Human ties were also severed. Some were repressed and shot, others went abroad or to another region. The situation is quite different in the countries of Central Asia and in Kazakhstan. Here the tribal culture of the family has been preserved. For what? The region is believed to know its ancestors down to the seventh generation. And not only in name, but also in profession. This pedigree base is very important. The main thing for any type is the preservation of family values.

  • However, this or that act can be committed under the influence of certain circumstances. Yes, and Her Majesty the case cannot be ignored either.
Larisa Dokuchaeva: Under the influence of circumstances, we often perform certain actions automatically, not always performing them, as if according to a certain program. But in the same situation, two different people will behave differently – depending on their individual characteristics. And they are related, including with heredity. At the same time, a person, acting in one way or another under certain circumstances, exerts his influence on the descendants. His reaction to certain events, the pattern of behavior is passed on to subsequent generations. That is, we are not only influenced by heredity, but also participate in the formation of generic programs.

  • What is the attitude of religious towards genealogy?

Larisa Dokuchaeva: In principle, quite tolerant. Although within the church itself as an institution there are some concerns regarding the word Rod. I participated in conferences organized by the Russian Orthodox Church. My report was called “Family – the heiress of the family”. I have to say there was a misunderstanding, but only up to a point. During the discussion, everything fell into place. In Islam, on the contrary, great attention is paid to ancestors and family ties. So there is no problem.

  • Can a person change what is destined by fate?

Larisa Dokuchaeva: If he does not repeat the mistakes of his ancestors. But it is important to know them. That’s what the pedigree is for. Many do, to put it mildly, unpleasant things towards others solely because of their ambitions and envy, or because of some sort of complex. Sometimes trying to show their worth. In religion, this is called pride. However, nobody thinks about the fact that it also changes the generic code.

We believe that for every atrocity, either the aggressor himself or, in the future, his descendants will pay the price. In my practice, such cases happen all the time.
We are prohibited from disclosing the information we receive from those who contact us, but I will give an example. A 50-year-old client came to see me. From the age of 49, she began to have an obsessive thought about the death of her husband. There were no problems in the family, the couple lived well, everyone was healthy, but the premonition of trouble did not leave her. I asked which of the women in the family lost her husband around the same age. It turned out that this happened to my grandmother. She lost her husband when she was only 49 years old. This is called the “birthday syndrome”. That is, everything is fine with the woman’s psyche, she just reacts to the genetic memory of her grandmother.

This is what we call in our method the generic, hereditary program or gender regularity. But heredity is not fatal. Realizing where these thoughts and premonitions come from, the program is possible – and necessary! – change or stop.

Besides

Rodology is not recognized as an official science. At least for now. Some scientists and public figures view rodology as a way to make money off gullible people.
