Defense Minister Rajnath Singh was addressing the Kisan-Kalyan Mahakumbh in Rajgarh district on Tuesday. In the programme, Defense Minister Singh and Chief Minister Chouhan, with a single click, Rs 2 thousand 123 crore in the accounts of 11 lakh farmers in the Chief Minister Farmers Interest Waiver Scheme-2023, Rs 2 thousand 900 crore in the accounts of 44 lakh 49 thousand farmers in the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Chief Minister Farmer In the welfare scheme, one thousand 400 crore was transferred to the accounts of 70 lakh 61 thousand farmers, in this way an amount of Rs 6 thousand 423 crore was transferred. Along with the farmers, a large number of sisters and daughters gathered in the programme.
Rajnath Singh said that India is no longer a weak country. No country has the courage to raise its eyes and look at us. The people of India have faith in Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. We consider all the people living on the earth of the world as our own. India does not attack any country, this is our character. We will not tease anyone, but if someone teases us, we will not leave him either. India can teach a lesson to terrorists and attackers by going to the other side, not this side. This has become evident from the decision of surgical strike by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He said that women are being given importance in the army. Now they are not only joining the army in large numbers, but have also become ready for leadership. The flagship of a major naval warship is also headed by a woman. Sisters have an important role in building a new India. Prime Minister Modi has done the work of increasing the participation of sisters.
Shivraj doing charismatic work in Madhya Pradesh
The Defense Minister said that Chief Minister Chouhan has done charismatic work in various fields including farmers’ welfare. He remembers that when he came to Madhya Pradesh many years ago on the invitation of Chief Minister Chouhan in the Kisan Sammelan, the farmers used to get loan at 4 percent interest, which he worked to bring down to zero percent. He has taken not one but many steps in the interest of the farmers. This is proof of his sensitivity. Like Prime Minister Modi, Chief Minister Chouhan is also providing charismatic leadership for public welfare. The huge community present in this meeting of Rajgarh is also a proof that Chief Minister Chouhan has served the public a lot.
He said that the farmer is the provider of food, the giver of life and the bestower of fortune. Our country cannot develop without making the farmers strong. The Government of Madhya Pradesh has done an incomparable work for the farmer brothers and sisters. Defense Minister Singh said that the Prime Minister has done a wonderful job for the creation of Digital India. Payments worth Rs 29 lakh crore in the country are being done through mobile only. This is an example of digital revolution that today e-payment is being done even at vegetable shops. In the last 9 years, there has been concern for the village, the poor and the farmer. If any government works for the farmers, then no one does them a favor. Agriculture welfare has been given priority. There should be no difference between our words and actions. The central and state governments have done what they said. There is a world of difference between the works of the previous government and the present government. The same thing can be said for Madhya Pradesh also.
He said that the Prime Minister has taken a pledge to provide water to every household under the Jal-Jeevan Mission. Madhya Pradesh has done excellent work in this field by providing tap water to 60 lakh families. The production of food grains has increased in the country. In the areas where India was ranked 6th to 10th in the world, now it is coming in first and second place. There has also been a significant increase in the budget of the Central Government. The agriculture budget has also increased. Whether it is the question of construction of toilets or construction of roads, India is making steady progress.
In the programme, the Defense Minister also inaugurated the works completed under the Gorakhpura Gramin Nal-Jal Yojana and Jal-Jeevan Mission. During this, women from 156 villages brought urns. The villagers also expressed happiness on the occasion of newly started projects by being present in Kalipath and Karanwas. Along with the sale of residential land titles, various development works were inaugurated and Bhoomi Pujan was also done in the programme. Benefits were distributed to the beneficiaries of the schemes. Chief Minister Chouhan welcomed Defense Minister Singh by wearing a traditional turban. The Kisan-Kalyan Mahakumbh started with the lighting of the lamp. The Chief Minister also addressed the program.
The amount of Chief Minister Kisan-Kalyan Yojana will be increased from 4 thousand to 6 thousand rupees: Shivraj
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that under the Mukhyamantri Kisan-Kalyan Yojana, instead of Rs 4 thousand, the state government will now provide Rs 6 thousand to the farmers every year. In the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, farmers get 6 thousand rupees every year. In this way, now the amount received by the farmers will be Rs. 12 thousand annually. He said that fertilizers are available in sufficient quantity in the state. The state government will also pay the interest of three months for advance lifting of fertilizers and seeds. He told the farmers that the procurement of moong at the support price would start soon.
The Chief Minister started his address with a soulful address of “Kaisi Ho Meri Behenon”. He welcomed the Defense Minister in a special way. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defense Minister Singh have played an important role in making India a superpower in the defense sector. Tractor holder family will also get the benefit of Ladli Bahna Yojana
Announcing that the Chief Minister said that now such families, where there are tractors, will also be benefited under the Ladli Bahna Yojana. In the provisions of the scheme, it was earlier decided that the female member of the family having a four wheeler would not be eligible for the scheme. Now the families having tractors will also get the benefit of Ladli Bahna Yojana.
He said that a large number of farmer brothers have come for the Kisan-Kalyan Mahakumbh. Today, the work of removing the bale of interest amount from the heads of the farmers has been done by the Defense Minister. The previous government had put this bundle on the heads of the farmers. Initiative has also been taken to purchase moong from farmers in the state. With the increase in the area under irrigation, the condition of the farmer has changed. Madhya Pradesh, which once had 7.5 lakh hectare irrigation capacity, has now increased its irrigation capacity to 45 lakh hectare. The target is to take it further to 65 lakhs.
He said that even in Rajgarh district, the previous government had not made any arrangement for irrigation. Even the people’s representative who was the Chief Minister for 10 years could not make this arrangement. There was no power supply. Electricity remained off for hours. Now Madhya Pradesh has become self-sufficient in the production of electricity. The previous government had not even made irrigation and road arrangements. The farmers were cheated. To give them relief, their list was not even prepared. He said that a decision will also be taken to increase the compensation of the farmers affected by the Sukhalia project. Injustice will not be allowed to happen to the farmers of Rajgarh and any district of the state.
Will make sisters millionaires
The Chief Minister said that the sisters in the family will get strong financial support from the Chief Minister Ladli Bahna Yojana, Rs.1000 per month to the beneficiaries of old age pension along with the increased amount of Kisan Samman Nidhi. I have resolved to make my sisters millionaires. They will not be allowed to remain poor. In the Ladli Behna Yojana, while arranging funds, each sister will be provided Rs. 3000, gradually increasing from Rs. 1000. The main objective is to change the life and destiny of women. The dreams of sisters and daughters will be fulfilled.
In the program, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that Congress made promises but did not fulfill them. Whatever promises our party made, it worked to fulfill each and every one. Due to the difference between the words and deeds of the leaders, a crisis of trust has arisen in the politics of India. But our Prime Minister and Chief Minister have accepted this crisis as a challenge.
