It is necessary to organize labor and investment migration in the exporting countries of migration, in particular the countries of North Africa, including the Arab Maghreb. We should recognize the important contributions made by migrant workers to host countries and countries of origin in the Arab Maghreb Union; As their skills have contributed to the growth and development of construction, agriculture, services and industry, as well as to the promotion of innovation and cultural exchanges in the countries of emigration, and that their remittances from abroad are an essential source of foreign exchange in their countries of origin. We must also recognize the challenges and difficulties they face, in particular their abuses, discrimination, low wages and precarious working conditions, which require our collective wisdom to ensure the protection of migrant workers’ rights and the creation of environment conducive to their social development and economic inclusion. Migrants also sometimes represent a heavy social and economic burden for the host countries, hence the importance of statistics on their age and the reasons for their migration; reduce irregular migration.
