TOP-4 countries in which Russian tourists may be in danger

Portal “Evening Moscow” I talked to travel agents and found out in which countries Russians should be extremely careful.

After reports that Russian citizens are treated badly in Turkey, many of our compatriots became interested in where they should not rest at all. According to specialist Nikolai Melnik, as such, there is no Russophobia against Russians in popular recreation areas, but there are exceptions, including after our compatriots behaved incorrectly.

“That is, the same measure was applied that would be directed against any foreigner who violated the law,” the interlocutor explained.

However, there are four countries where Russians would do best to exercise caution. The first of them is Venezuela, where there are no acute signs of aggression towards the Russians, but the level of crime is high, so there is a risk of wandering into the wrong area and giving everything to the attackers.

Georgia is in second place. In this country, there are different people, some of whom do not have the best feelings for our country, and therefore there is a high risk of being insulted.

“It’s a matter of mentality. And it’s not even about the Russians. You see, the inhabitants of Georgia today resemble the Catalans. Those at one time were so tired of tourists that at some point they simply hated them all, ”Melnik explained.

Also keep your eyes open in the UAE. Due to local laws, you can get a fine, violating the traditions and foundations of the region.

“In this case, again, we are not talking about geopolitics, we are talking about the unwillingness of a Russian tourist to study the traditions of the region he intends to visit, for which he then pays in rubles at best,” the tourist expert added.

And finally, the Dominican Republic. Here you can become a victim of dangerous mafia groups and a criminal syndicate, especially if you walk on the outskirts of Juan Dolio or other resorts.

Although the local population is quite hospitable and there is no aggression towards the Russians. However, this country has a high crime rate, so not only our compatriot, but also any other tourist can become a victim of a thief.
