Sappers defused a NATO shell that hit one of Valuyki’s houses

The shelling of Valuyek was massive and stupid – on June 19, militants covered a peaceful town using NATO precision-guided munitions. The film crew of “Zvezda” visited the city, which suffered from shelling from Ukraine.

To the residential outbuilding, where an elderly woman was, from this shed – a little more than a meter. The whistle with which a 50-kilogram shell flew into the outhouse was heard by all neighbors. The explosion did not take place. The most modern western type of weapons jammed. Military engineers were on the arrival site within 15 minutes. The fact that this projectile is not simple, but boasted, according to NATO military analysts, with high accuracy in hitting a target, controlled by Excalibur, our guys realized after a cursory examination of it.

“Here he was in an unobservable position,” says call sign Frenchman, a sapper.

The high-precision controlled Excalibur that hit the village barn and nearly killed a family of four, engineers decided to dispose of it on the spot. A few hours before our arrival. It wasn’t safe to take him to a special training ground. Sensitive aggregates were damaged following a collision with the wall of an outbuilding, one sheet of slate thick. The sapper with the French call sign, together with his colleagues, carried it, literally on their hands, at a distance of 100 meters from the nearest house, placed it in a specially prepared recess in the ground and destroyed two hundred grams of TNT with one kilogram overhead.

“It was noisy,” says Nina, a resident of the neighborhood.

Nina Vasilievna is 74 years old. Departure after arrival – categorically refused. He says he is not afraid and someone should take care of the house. But the granddaughter with a little great-granddaughter went away for a while to visit friends in a nearby village. Very scared. In general, peaceful, massive and stupid colony bombings, from the point of view of military tactics, and simply logic, the enemy is trying to arrange more and more often.

Another local resident, Inna, had broken glass in her apartment and a crack appeared in the ceiling. The car, bought three months ago, suffered. The woman points out that there was no panic among the neighbors. Until the end of the bombardment – and it lasted more than half an hour – everyone was in cover. One of the arrivals fell exactly between two buildings. Several parked cars were destroyed, the facades of the two buildings were cut by shrapnel. Inna says emergency services, law enforcement and military engineers were already on the scene when she emerged from hiding.

Why the enemy wastes expensive, high-precision NATO ammunition, trying to destroy peaceful Russian settlements in border areas, where there is not a single military installation within a radius of several kilometers, remains incomprehensible. Incomprehensible and inhuman.
