Military expert Klintsevich: Ukraine will try with all its might to organize a provocation at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, in order to then shift the blame to us – Rossiyskaya Gazeta

As the Russian proverb knows, the thief shouts the loudest: “Arrest the thief!” Therefore, I am sure that our political and military leaders clearly understand that Ukraine will try with all its might to organize a provocation at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in order to shift the blame to us. For the Kiev regime, this is the last chance to bring the Ukrainian agenda back to the media headlines – to bring Ukraine back into the global media arena.

The Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant was built by the Soviet Union with very high safety standards. It is the second largest in the world and the largest nuclear power plant in Europe. The nuclear reactors themselves are in a reinforced concrete shell that can withstand the fall of a cargo plane. At the same time, during the period of Ukrainian independence, in an attempt to please the United States, Ukraine attracted the American company Westinghouse to help with the fuel cells and to operate the station. Now four power units of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant use American nuclear fuel.

The Americans have created a so-called street storage area for spent nuclear fuel at the ZNPP. Fuel is stored in special containers near the station. Now, above this storage area, Russian Rosatom employees have fired anti-drone nets, but these protective structures, of course, will not withstand a serious hit from Ukrainian artillery, Storm Shadow missiles or HIMARS . The seal of the containers will be broken and the area will be contaminated. And Ukraine will tell everyone that the Russians blew it all up. The methodology has already been worked out during the explosion of the Kakhovskaya dam, one can also recall the events of Bucha. Western media will no doubt take Kyiv’s version of events on faith, and the escalation in Ukraine could escalate dramatically.

The likelihood of such a scenario developing is very high, since the NATO summit is fast approaching, during which, with a high degree of probability, nothing awaits Ukraine. They had no success in the widely heralded counter-offensive. Equipment and personnel are being destroyed in massive numbers, and they need some sort of picture of the escalating conflict to try to distract our allies from us. And to force their allies to provide even more aid to Kyiv, citing the fact that Ukraine is fighting “global evil”.

It is clear that a large number of Ukrainian territories will also fall under radioactive contamination. However, this is what Kyiv needs. The Kyiv regime has long treated its population as a recoverable resource to some degree, so that it can be monetized. Now, as part of this monetization, they exchange their citizens, who are thrown into the slaughterhouse, for weapons and equipment. In order to receive new grants and weapons, they can come to the fact that part of the Ukrainian population will be in the zone of radioactive contamination.
If the Europeans detect that a radioactive cloud has hit them, it will cause panic among the population. Europeans will ask the leaders of their countries to act. Here we are approaching the fact that this provocation can become a reason for legalizing the entry of the Polish-Lithuanian-Ukrainian army corps into Ukraine. This will be the reason for the people of Europe that a joint force is sent to help Ukraine.

At the same time, I think that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will first try to seize the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. Moreover, it is not for nothing that they dry up the Kakhovka reservoir for so long, disrupting the ecosystem, the water supply of cities, retaining water higher than Dnepropetrovsk. In addition, capture will provide access to energy production, which they lack so much today. If this is not possible, the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant risks being hit by a missile.
