The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have launched strikes on the settlement of Zapesochye in the Pogar district of Russia’s Bryansk region. This incident was reported by the regional governor, Alexander Bogomaz, through his Telegram channel.
Governor Bogomaz stated, “The Ukrainian Armed Forces shelled the village of Zapesochye”. He further informed that there were no casualties as a result of the attack, but damage to an agricultural building was recorded. “Emergency services are working on the spot,” he concluded.
This attack follows a similar incident where the Ukrainian forces targeted the settlement of Manev in the Klimovo district of the Bryansk region. In that attack, the Ukrainian army fired three 125-caliber artillery shells, but there were no casualties or destruction reported.
Additionally, Governor Bogomaz had earlier reported that the AFU shelled the settlement of Lemeshovka in the Sevsk district. According to his information, no one was injured in the attack, but destruction was recorded.
These incidents mark a continuation of the ongoing tensions and military activities in the region. The situation remains dynamic, with operational services responding to these developments.
