Netanyahu Threatens Iran’s Ayatollah and Hezbollah Leader: “This is Just One Step”

The Israeli Prime Minister stated that “thousands of short-range rockets have been destroyed, all of which were aimed at harming the citizens of Israel.”

Following the Israeli military strikes on southern Lebanon, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the public, emphasizing that these is and that they do not mark the end of the story.

“Hezbollah attempted to attack Israel with drones and rockets. We ordered the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) to carry out a strong and preventive strike to eliminate the threat,” Netanyahu said. according to NBC News.

The Israeli Prime Minister stated that “thousands of short-range rockets have been destroyed, all of which were aimed at harming the citizens of Israel.”

“In addition, the air defense intercepted all the drones that Hezbollah launched at strategic targets in central Israel,” he noted.

Netanyahu reiterated that the IDF killed a high-ranking Hezbollah official, Fuad Shukr, in the attack.

“Today, we thwarted their attack plan. Hezbollah’s Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut and the Ayatollah in Tehran should know that this is just one more step on the path to changing the situation in the north and safely returning our residents to their homes,” Netanyahu concluded.
