Three days of mourning for Nasrallah in Iraq

Three days of mourning have been declared in Iraq for the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in an Israeli attack.

The Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hassan Nasrallah, was killed in an Israeli bombing of Beirut, Lebanon. In a written statement from the Iraqi Prime Ministry Press Office, it was stated that Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani declared a three-day mourning period in the country due to the killing of Nasrallah.

Iraqi National Shiite Movement leader Muqtada al-Sadr also commemorated Nasrallah in a statement on his X social media account, announcing that he declared a three-day mourning period.

Many nations responded to the killing of Hassan Nasrallah. Russia responded by showing its support for Hezbollah. United States President Joe Biden announced full support in favor of Israel after the bombing and killing in Lebanon. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu encashed the opportunity by claiming that he ordered the killing of Nasrallah in Lebanon.
