Earlier on Thursday, the Iranian president stressed that it is not permissible to ignore the suffering and displacement of the people of Gaza and the Lebanese people due to the brutal attacks of the Israeli military.

During his meeting with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud at his residence in Doha, Pezeshkian said that Israel’s audacity today to commit crimes and genocide in Gaza and Lebanon is due to divisions among Islamic countries and their indifference, noting that “If we do not unite against this aggression, today it will be Gaza and Lebanon, and tomorrow it will be other cities and Islamic nations.” according to Iranianpress.

The Iranian president stressed that those who are being subjected today in Gaza and Lebanon to the brutal attacks of the Israeli military are our brothers and sisters, and we must not remain indifferent to their suffering and displacement.

He stressed that the Iranian missile attack, against military and security sites in Tel Aviv, came as a legitimate response to the Israeli entity’s continuation of its crimes after the false promises to establish a ceasefire in Gaza, in exchange for the Islamic Republic of Iran exercising self-restraint, Pezeshkian said that Iran, as we have repeatedly declared, absolutely does not welcome increased escalation and tension in the region.

He added, The bitter events in Gaza and Lebanon resulting from the aggression of the Zionist entity are among the most important issues and problems of the Islamic world.

As part of an official visit to Doha, where Pezeshkian began to participate in the Asian Cooperation Dialogue Forum, the Iranian president said, We want security, stability, and peace, and ‘Israel’ is the one that assassinated the martyr Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran.

Dohanews writes that, In a joint press conference with the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Pezeshkian stressed that “the security of the region is the security of all Muslims, and we do not look forward to war, but we look forward to peace and calm,” explaining, “We will respond more strongly and harshly if Israel responds to us.”

They asked us to hold off on responding, said Pezeshkian, but Israel pushed us to respond after targeting our guest, escalating the situation in Lebanon, and continuing attacks in Gaza. He pointed out that Tehran looks for peace and calm, and Israel is forcing us to respond, stressing that destabilizing the region is not in the interests of the Europeans and the United States and that what the Israeli military is doing is expanding the circle of violence.

According to the press tv The Iranian president stressed that “if Israel makes the slightest mistake against Iran, it will receive a much stronger response” than Operation True Promise 2.

Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud Said, We are determined to turn the page on differences

For his part, after conveying the greetings of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz and his Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to the Iranian President, Bin Farhan affirmed Riyadh’s determination to expand relations with Iran.

He said, We are determined to turn the page on differences between the two countries forever, and to work as friends and brothers to settle issues and expand relations between us.

Bin Farhan discussed the extremely sensitive and critical circumstances in the region against the backdrop of the Israeli attacks on Gaza and Lebanon, and Tel Aviv’s attempts to expand the scope of the war to the rest of the region’s regions. He said to Masoud Pezeshkian, that We trust your wisdom in controlling the circumstances and also playing a role on the path to establishing stability and peace in the region.
