US CENTCOM’s greeting for Yom Kippur turns into hall of shame

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) shared a post on the X social media platform with the Shofar instrument made from the ram’s horn, which is considered sacred by Jews.

Thousands of people commented on the post, criticizing the US’s support for Israel. While some X users considered CENTCOM’s post as “treason”, famous American actor and producer Kevin Sorbo said, “My sons will not die in a foreign war.”

Some people who opposed the support of Israel with US taxpayers asked CENTCOM, “I’m sorry. I’m confused. Which country are you the Central Command for?”

Some users condemned Israel’s genocide in Gaza and called on the US not to be a part of these crimes.

Considered the most important holy holiday in Judaism, Yom Kippur is known as a day when those seeking forgiveness fast and pray in synagogues.
