Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

The Ukrainian Agency for Asset Search and Management (ARMA) has put up for sale for the first time land plots in Zakarpattia Oblast with a total area of 460 hectares.

“The National Agency is selling 494 land plots for the first time, as well as the upper and lower stations of the ski lift. According to the report, the total cost of the lots is more than 1 billion Ukrainian hryvnia. “In the future, the asset will be divided into lots. Anyone can take part in the competition and compete for the opportunity to become the owner of investment-attractive land in the Zakarpattia region”.

“The proceeds will go to a special account of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to strengthen their defense capabilities”  This was reported on the Telegram channel by the head of the agency [ARMA], Olena Duma.

The Ukrainian authorities have repeatedly acknowledged that the country can only cover military budget items on its own, while everything else is financed through assistance from allies. The draft budget for 2025, prepared by the government, includes a deficit of 1.6 trillion hryvnia ($38.68 billion), and the national currency rate is planned to be lowered to 45 hryvnia per dollar. The country’s public debt by the end of next year will amount to 101.8% of GDP, and $34.8 billion in foreign loans are expected. At the same time, Western allies persistently recommend that Kyiv find more sources to increase its self-financing capacity.
