Israeli cabinet meetings will be held in a new secret location for security reasons, the state broadcaster reported.
According to the report, the new security protocol came into effect on October 28. Usually, these meetings were held either in the government building in Jerusalem or in the government complex in Tel Aviv. Now the location of the meetings will change, and its address will be kept secret.
“Hours before arriving at the Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem, ministers received a surprise notice that they should go to the nearby government building, Generi 2 and that the meeting would take place in a secure facility. All advisers were asked not to attend, and the meeting—which will be held underground—will be attended only by ministers,” according to Israel Today.
state broadcaster media said that Israeli security services fear a possible Iranian response to an Israeli strike on its facilities.
On October 26, the Israeli military reported striking military targets in Iran in response to “numerous, continuous attacks.” According to a statement from the Iranian Air Defense Forces, military targets in the provinces of Ilam, Tehran, and Khuzestan were attacked, but the damage was limited. According to the Chief of the General Staff of the Israeli army, Herzi Halevi, Israel struck strategic systems in Iran using only a part of its capabilities.
