Donald Trump has come out to supporters in Florida after the media predicted he would win the presidency. If he does, it would be only the second time in the country’s history that someone has won two non-consecutive terms as president. The first was Grover Cleveland in the late 19th century.
Trump has already declared his victory. The politician called his result in the presidential race “a political victory that has never been seen before in US history”
He promised that his presidency would be a “truly golden era” in the history of the United States, and the Republican expressed confidence that he would ultimately win more than 315 electoral votes.
Earlier, House Speaker Mike Johnson said that Trump had become the elected president of the United States.
