Houthis target US Aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln by missiles and drones

The Houthi movement in Yemen announced that they launched an attack on the US Navy aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln with cruise missiles and drones.

The Houthi movement in Yemen announced that they targeted the US Navy aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln. The Houthis announced that they carried out the attack with cruise missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles.

Houthi military spokesman Yahya Seree confirmed the missile and drone attack on the USS Abraham Lincoln in the Oman Sea. Seree also stated that they carried out similar attacks on two US destroyers in the Red Sea. Seree said that these attacks will continue until Israel’s attacks in Haoutand Lebanon, with US support, are stopped.

The US has not yet made a statement regarding these attacks carried out by the Houthis. The repercussions and possible consequences of the attack have created great concern around the world.

According to Middle East Monitor, The first operation targeted a US aircraft carrier in the Arabian Sea with a number of missiles and drones, while the second operation launched missiles and drones at two US destroyers in the Red Sea, Yahya Sarea said.

A vessel 70 nautical miles south-west of Yemen’s Hudaydah reported several explosions in its vicinity earlier on Tuesday, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations UKMTO said, adding that the vessel sustained no damage, and the crew remained safe.

According to Pravda, “The missile, UAV forces of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out two specific military operations. The first operation targeted the American aircraft carrier (Abraham) located in the Arabian Sea with a number of cruise missiles and drones while the American enemy was preparing to carry out hostile operations targeting our country. The operation has successfully achieved its objectives, and led to thwarting the operation that the American enemy was preparing against our country,” Saria said
