Israel, which continues its genocide in Palestine, attacked a 5-story residential building in Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza. According to initial reports, At least 96 Palestinians were killed and 60 others injured in Israeli airstrikes in the northern and central Gaza Strip on Sunday, according to local authorities.
Gaza’s government media office said Israeli warplanes targeted several residential buildings and homes in the northern town of Beit Lahia and the refugee camps of Nuseirat and Bureij in central Gaza.
According to the Middle East Monitor, “The occupation army [Israeli army] was aware that dozens of displaced civilians were inside these buildings, and that the majority of them were children and women who had been displaced from their neighborhoods,” Gaza’s government media office said.

According to eyewitnesses, the Israeli army struck a five-story building in the area of Legitimate Beit Lahiya, where Palestinians were forcibly displaced. The building, which reportedly housed about 70 people, was destroyed.
According to Reuters, The United Nations Human Rights Office said the Israeli military appeared to be “cutting off North Gaza completely from the rest of the Gaza Strip.”

According to information received from hospital sources, Israeli warplanes bombed two houses in the Bureyj Refugee Camp in central Gaza and the east of Rafah city in southern Gaza. 16 people lost their lives in the attacks.
Eyewitnesses also said that Israeli forces blew up dozens of buildings with explosives in the al-Fahura district, west of the Jibaliya Refugee Camp in northern Gaza.
