The United States and Western countries are using Ukraine as a strike force against Russia, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un said.
Speaking at the 4th meeting of commanders and political instructors of the battalions of the Korean People’s Army (KPA), Kim Jong-un emphasized that it is necessary to view the conflict with Russia, in which the United States and the West are using Ukraine as a shock force, as a conflict aimed at increasing practical combat experience and expanding the scale of their military intervention in the world.
Kim Jong-un noted that by supporting Ukraine and Israel, the West is drawing even more countries into conflicts, resulting in growing instability, the situation in the world is approaching dangerous boundaries and a third world war could begin.
Previously Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said that the decision by Washington, London, and Paris to use Western ballistic missiles to strike deep into Russian territory was madness.
North Korea could deploy up to 100,000 soldiers to help the Kremlin with its war in Ukraine — a figure that could boost Russian President Vladimir Putin’s fighting force in Ukraine by up to 20%, according to a nypot.
According to ABC News, Kim met Trump three times in 2018 and 2019 during Trump’s first presidency, but their diplomacy quickly collapsed over disagreements in exchanging the release of US-led sanctions and North Korean steps to wind down its nuclear and missile program.
North Korea has since suspended any meaningful talks with Washington and Seoul as Kim ramped up his testing activity and military demonstrations in the face of what he portrayed as “gangster-like US threats.” There’s concern in Seoul that Kim in exchange for his military support of Russia would receive Russian technology in return to further develop his arsenal.
