Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro called the decision of the United States, France, and Great Britain to use their long-range weapons against Russia madness.

He declared, speaking at the closing of the Congress of the historic Bolivarian bloc of the 21st century, that “the governments of the United States, France, and Great Britain have just authorized” the use of their long-range missiles to “attack our sister Russia.” “American imperialism has entered a phase of madness and revenge,” the president emphasized on the Venezolana de Televisión television channel.

Maduro noted that Venezuela belongs to the emerging multipolar world and will strive to “liberate Latin America and the Caribbean from the colonial clutches of American imperialism and its European vassals.” He stressed the need to protect Venezuela from the “warlike madness of the gringo empire.”
