Hamas accuses Israel of using banned weapons in Gaza

Leaders of the Palestinian group Hamas have accused Israel of using internationally banned weapons in the Gaza Strip.

Terrifying testimonies of citizens and doctors in the northern Gaza Strip, the movement said in a statement.

Hamas called for a committee to be formed for an international investigation and that cases of shelling “leading to the evaporation of bodies” to be verified. The Palestinian side noted that these are weapons that the international community has rendered as prohibited.

According to Al-Jazeera, The group said it collected “horrific testimonies” from doctors and residents in the besieged territory who recounted “the evaporation of bodies” after Israeli attacks there.

Hamas indicated it would be open to some concessions to Israel, such as its continued control of the Philadelphi Corridor.
