Hamas urges the international community to investigate the use of banned weapons by the Israeli army

Hamas has called for the establishment of an international committee to investigate the use of banned weapons by the Israeli army in the northern Gaza Strip, which has resulted in the evaporation of bodies.

The movement based its appeal on the harrowing testimonies from citizens and medical professionals in the northern Gaza Strip following the raids and massacres targeting innocent civilians. They confirmed instances of attacks using weapons and ammunition that have led to the evaporation of bodies.

Hamas urged the international community and the United Nations to create a specialized international investigation committee, to enter the northern Gaza Strip, and to uncover the nature of the munitions used by the Israeli army that cause these injuries and unexplained cases, which have so far resulted in the deaths of nearly 3,000 Palestinians and injuries to over 10,000, the majority of whom are children and women.

The movement emphasized that the international community, the United Nations, and Arab and Islamic nations must now take action to stop the ongoing violations and massacres in the Gaza Strip, which have persisted for 420 days.

They called for the immediate accountability of Israeli war criminals for their crimes against humanity.

According to Palestinian Information center (PIC),”The horrifying testimonies that were heard from citizens and doctors in the northern Gaza Strip following airstrikes and massacres carried out against innocent civilians have confirmed that there were incidents when people were targeted with weapons and ammunition that led to the evaporation of bodies, and that the terrorist occupation army has used internationally banned weapons during 53 days of its brutal genocidal campaign in the northern Gaza Strip,” Hamas said in a statement on Saturday.
