Israel has carried out around 10 airstrikes on the As-Safira district of Syria’s southeastern Aleppo province, causing casualties.

Authorities said the strikes, which took place at approximately 10 different locations, caused extensive damage to the areas targeted.
According to information obtained from local sources, the air defense base and warehouse number 404 in the Sefire region were targeted by airstrikes by Israeli forces.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights put the death toll at 42; Reuters said 38 had been killed. Around 1:45 am Friday, strikes targeted sites east of Aleppo International Airport with explosions and material losses. Syria’s Ministry of Defence acknowledged a number of civilian and military casualties but did not specify how many.
