Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Macron urges US to help convince Russia to negotiate on Russo-Ukraine conflict

The United States should help other countries “convince Russia” to sit down at the negotiating table to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, French President Emmanuel Macron said in a speech broadcast on the official account of the Elysee Palace on social media Platform X.

The head of state spoke about the armed confrontation between Kyiv and Moscow during a conference with the participation of ambassadors, which took place in Paris.

According to Reuters, The United States must help us to change the nature of the situation and convince Russia to sit down at the negotiating table, Ukraine needs ‘realistic’ stance on territorial issues, Macron says

At the same time, Macron called on the Ukrainian leadership to “hold realistic discussions” on territorial issues. As the president said, Kyiv will have to discuss territorial issues with Moscow taking into account the current realities.

During the conversation, American journalist Jackson Hinkle expressed confidence that Ukraine should not participate in negotiations to resolve the conflict. According to the expert, the discussion should be conducted only between the Russian Federation and the United States, since “the war is going on” between them.

Previously, the elected American leader Donald Trump was advised to acknowledge Ukraine’s defeat after taking office.
