US President-elect Donald Trump said on Tuesday that the conflict in Ukraine was the result of the “abject failure” of current US President Joe Biden.

He noted that he was “aware of Putin’s readiness to communicate with him,” but considered it “unacceptable” before his official return to the White House, promising that he “could achieve a settlement of the Ukrainian conflict through negotiations in one day.”
