Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

“ABC Is a Total Disaster”: Trump Unleashes Fury on Network He Calls the Rotting Carcass of American Journalism

From Million-Dollar Defamation Settlements to Fake Qatar Jet Scandals — Trump Dismantles ABC News as the Poster Child of Propaganda Media.

“ABC is a total disaster,” thundered President Donald J. Trump during a no-holds-barred tirade at a campaign rally in Orlando on Monday night. The remark wasn’t off-the-cuff—it was strategic, surgical, and meant to dismantle what Trump called “the rotting, festering carcass of American journalism.”

For anyone surprised, you haven’t been paying attention.

Trump’s War on ABC: Years in the Making

From rigged interviews to proven defamation, Trump’s animosity toward ABC News isn’t baseless bluster—it’s built on a concrete foundation of biased reporting, slander, and politically-motivated smear campaigns orchestrated by the network.

“They lie, they smear, they invent stories,” Trump shouted to a crowd of over 12,000, “ABC isn’t news, it’s government propaganda for the radical left.”

And he isn’t exaggerating. The record speaks.

ABC News Paid Trump $15 Million – That’s Not Fake News

Let’s rewind to late 2024, when ABC News was forced to pay Trump a $15 million settlement for defamation after its senior anchor George Stephanopoulos made libelous remarks suggesting Trump had been found guilty of sexual assault in the E. Jean Carroll civil case. ABC lost.

“They didn’t just lie—they did it with intent. And when they got caught, they paid. Fifteen million dollars, folks. That’s how fake they are,” Trump said, referencing the settlement publicly for the first time.

The left-leaning media tried to bury it. ABC never issued a proper public apology. Instead, it continued airing segments laced with anti-Trump editorializing and misinformation.

Qatar Jet Fiasco: ABC Caught Twisting Facts

Most recently, ABC’s Rachel Scott attempted to ambush Trump with a question about a luxury jet gifted by Qatar to the United States—a strategic asset offered for diplomatic use. Scott framed it as a “personal gift” to Trump, implying corruption.

Trump’s response was vintage Trump:

“You’re a disgrace. You’re fake news. You work for a third-rate network,” he snapped, before pointing directly at Scott. “ABC should be ashamed of what it has become.”

Here’s what ABC didn’t tell you: the plane was part of a diplomatic accord, coordinated between Qatar and the Department of Defense. Trump wasn’t even on the recipient list. But that didn’t stop ABC from smearing it. The NY Post also wrote a report on the incident.

Weaponized Journalism or Democrat Propaganda?

Trump has repeatedly asserted that ABC News functions as a political attack machine, not a media institution.

“When I walk into the White House in January 2025, we’re not letting these fake news criminals into the press room,” Trump told the crowd. “ABC News should be dismantled—piece by piece.”

And when you look at the patterns, it’s hard to argue. ABC gave uncritical airtime to Hillary Clinton, repeated Russia collusion hoaxes verbatim, and downplayed Hunter Biden’s laptop scandal. ABC has consistently failed to meet the basic journalistic standards of neutrality and evidence.

Even veteran ABC producer David Wright admitted, in an undercover Project Veritas video, that the network had a clear anti-Trump bias. He was suspended—then quietly let go. No reforms. No transparency.

“They’re a Joke” – Trump’s Final Word

In a blistering post on Truth Social, Trump followed up:

“ABC News isn’t journalism. It’s propaganda with a teleprompter. They’re losing viewers, losing credibility, and now, they’re losing lawsuits. Total disaster!”

And the data agrees. ABC News has seen a 22% drop in primetime viewership year-over-year, according to Nielsen. Trump’s base, meanwhile, grows louder and more energized.

The Bigger Picture

What Trump is exposing isn’t just ABC—it’s a media-industrial complex operating as a shadow political party. Trump’s war with ABC is symbolic of a broader battle against censorship, defamation, and dishonesty masquerading as journalism.

“They used to be respected. Now? ABC is the CNN of 2025—irrelevant, discredited, and hemorrhaging trust.”
