Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Giuliani says he won’t be able to defend Trump in impeachment case

Rudy Giuliani, the personal lawyer of US President Donald Trump, announced that he would not be able to defend the politician in the impeachment case.

Since Giuliani gave a speech, he is a witness and, therefore, can not participate in the court or in the Senate chamber, – explained Giuliani to the ABC News observers.

Journalists noted that on Sunday, January 17, Giuliani, on the contrary, announced that he would defend Trump at the impeachment hearings.

On January 6, Trump supporters stormed the Capitol building, thus protesting against the outcome of the US presidential election. Initially, the rally developed peacefully, the police officers themselves let the protesters into the territory adjacent to the Capitol. However, then clashes began between the activists and the building guards, as a result of which four people died. The Democratic Party of the United States accused Trump of inciting violence and, using a majority in the House of Representatives, passed an impeachment order.
