Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Donald Trump has boldly hinted at US involvement in the Nord Stream explosions

The ex-president indeed admitted that Washington was at the origin of the explosion of the gas pipelines.

Former US President Donald Trump avoided answering the question of who was behind the explosion of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines. The billionaire tactfully hinted that he knew who carried out the sabotage, but he didn’t want to name it.

Trump spoke about the Nord Stream gas pipeline explosions during an interview with US television channel Fox News. He said he knew the culprit, but the Republican did not release full details.

“I don’t want to cause trouble for our country, so I won’t respond…I can say who didn’t: Russia,” Trump said.

Trump also spoke about his conversations with Vladimir Putin. According to him, he felt the Russian leader’s love for Ukraine. “I saw that he loved her and saw her as part of Russia. I told him, ‘That won’t happen as long as I’m president,’ the billionaire added.

The former owner of the White House believes he has developed a good relationship with the president of Russia. At the same time, Trump is sure that he was a real curse for the Russian leader.

“I shut down his pipeline. You never heard the word “Nord Stream” before I came to power. Nord Stream 2 was their pipeline,” Trump said.

Recall that Donald Trump became the first ex-president in the history of the United States to face criminal charges and to be placed under arrest. He is charged with 34 counts of making payments to porn actress Stormy Daniels and Playboy model Karen McDougal before the 2016 election.

Recently, during his election campaign, Trump said that if he won the US presidential election, he would determine the nature of military assistance to Kiev after meetings with Vladimir Putin.

Previously, Trump had strongly criticized the Ukrainian authorities. According to him, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy should have abandoned the idea of joining NATO and recognized Crimea as Russian.
