Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Biden and Harris aides clash, scapegoat each other after democrats’ loss

The camps of US President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are blaming each other for the Democratic Party’s defeat in the recent elections.

A major wave of criticism fell on Biden’s aides, Steve Richetti and Mike Donilon. It is noted that they influenced the decision to try to re-elect Biden for a second term despite his age.

Harris’s campaign is also described as flawless, while Biden’s is the polar opposite. The other camp takes a different view, noting that Harris’s aides spent $1 billion on the campaign and still couldn’t win.

Finger-pointing advisers to Vice President Harris and President Biden agree on one thing: President-elect Trump’s victory is the other one’s fault.

According to Axios, One former Biden-Harris official said it was more a governing problem than a communications problem: “It’s very clear we got it wrong on economic policy. People feel squeezed and when they do, they pick change. Our policy position and execution wasn’t palpable to voters.”

Another former Biden administration official cited a range of frustrations: “The party was lied to about our candidate, and the leadership who lied were the same ones who never bothered to actually listen to voters and understand what was appealing to them about Trump — or why the Biden economy wasn’t working for them even if it looked good on paper.” as Axios writes.

The United States held a presidential election between Harris and Republican Donald Trump. To win, one of the politicians needed to receive at least 270 electoral votes. Harris has already conceded defeat.
