Vienna – RB Salzburg’s sports director Christoph Freund has spoken out for ghost games to continue the Bundesliga season in Austria.
“I am convinced that we can play such games if we all want to,” said Freund on ORF. “We are working intensively on this.” In the table, the Linz ASK leads Red Bull Salzburg.
Austria Vienna’s sports director, former Bundesliga coach Peter Stoger, also spoke out in the newspaper “Kurier” for games without a spectator.
On Wednesday, the Presidium of the Austrian Football Association will give a video conference on how to proceed in connection with the coronavirus pandemic.
