Cologne – Berlin Pheonix has won the European University Rocketeers’ Championship 2020. In the final, the university team won 4: 3 after games against KIT SC eSports, the team of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
Karlsruhe surprisingly took the lead 2: 3 after games in the final and earned a match point. Berlin, however, was able to achieve the decisive 1-0 in the sixth game after six minutes of extra time and equalized.
In the seventh game, the Berliners left nothing to go and secured the final victory with 4: 2.
