Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Iran vows revenge on Israel for attack on nuclear facility

Iran will take revenge on Israel for the accident at the uranium enrichment plant in Natanz (which might result in nuclear radiation emission). This was stated by the official of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Said Khatibzadeh.

“Iran’s response will be revenge on the Israeli regime at the appropriate time,” Khatibzadeh said.

The diplomat added that the attack on the facility, in which the Iranian authorities blame Israel, could “lead to a catastrophe, which is a crime against humanity.” At the same time, as the press secretary of the Iranian Foreign Ministry assured, no harm was done to people or the environment.

For his part, the head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry said that with this sabotage “the Zionists want to take revenge on the Iranian people in response to the success in the process of lifting the sanctions.”

“Israel has openly stated that it will not allow us to move forward on the issue of lifting the sanctions. And he believes that he succeeded in this. Our answer will reach the Zionists themselves. Our response to Israel will be another breakthrough in nuclear development,” Zarif said in his speech at a meeting of the Iranian parliament’s national and foreign policy commission.

The head of Iranian diplomacy added that “sabotage at Natanz will not weaken our position in the negotiations” and that Iran will improve its nuclear facility at Natanz. The minister noted that “the people” of Iran need to “be careful not to fall into a cunning trap created by the Israeli authorities.”

On the morning of April 11, the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran announced that there had been an accident in the electricity distribution network at the Natanz uranium enrichment plant . Later, the vice-president of the Iranian government and the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Ali Akbar Salehi, said that the incident was an attack and a manifestation of “nuclear terrorism .” The Iranian authorities denied the rumours of nuclear radiation emission from the Natanz nuclear facility.

And the New York Times reported , citing a source in the US presidential administration, that an explosion occurred at the Iranian nuclear facility, which was staged by the Israeli special services.
