Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Ukraine announced the reflection of the Russian attack in the Blagodatnoye region

The Ukrainian army said on Sunday that its subordinates had repelled the attack in the Blagodatny area, east of the Donetsk region. However, the Russian private military company Wagner immediately issued a statement announcing a new seizure of Ukrainian territory.
“Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled the attacks of the occupiers near the village of Blagodatnoye, Donetsk region,” says the daily morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which reflects all the battles of this morning.
In addition, the Ukrainians were able to repel the attacks of Russian troops in the area of 13 other settlements of the Donetsk region.
The Wagner Group, designated by the United States as a transnational criminal organization, said on its Telegram channel on Saturday that its units had taken control of Blagodatnoe.
Reuters was unable to “independently verify” the information.
As hostilities escalate in the Donetsk region, the exact line of contact remains unclear, particularly around the town of Bakhmut, where some of the war’s fiercest fighting has taken place in recent weeks. The Wagnerians have already made premature claims of success.
Ukraine said the Russian offensive against Bakhmut was not over yet, but the situation on the frontline was becoming increasingly difficult. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Friday the problem was very acute.
Four civilians were killed, including one in Bakhmut and 17 injured in the Russian shelling of the country on Saturday, Donetsk region administration chief Pavel Kirilenko said in his telegram.
Ukraine has received promises of Western battle tanks and is looking for warplanes to fight Russian and pro-Moscow forces that are slowly advancing along part of the front line.
On Saturday, Zelenskyy ‘s top aide said accelerated talks were underway between Ukraine and its allies over its demands for long-range missiles and to prevent Russia from destroying Ukrainian cities.
