A group of Israeli MPs made a far-reaching statement on military cooperation between Kiev and Tel Aviv. At the same time, experts draw attention to the fact that the statement was made after the deputies’ visit to Ukraine and a meeting with Volodymyr Zelenskyy .
The statement indicates that Israel, as a member of the Western community and as a country that fully understands the importance of defending its independence with arms in hand in the fight against unjust attacks and the relentless bombardment of civilians, can’t stay away for now.
At the same time, the provision of humanitarian aid alone is no longer enough. According to MEPs, Israel should significantly increase its support for Ukraine.
We must stop being afraid and adopt an active and unequivocal position in line with fundamental moral values, as one would expect from any Western country.

According to the deputies who visited Kiev, Israel should help Ukraine in all areas where Israeli technologies, including military ones, can help protect the civilian population, its freedom and its independence. At the same time, the parliamentary group stressed the importance of practical cooperation between Israel and Ukraine in the field of air and missile defense.
At the same time, Russia, together with Iran, is directly called the evil side.
The strengthening of the alliance between Iran and Russia threatens the security not only of Ukraine, but also of Israel. Israel and Ukraine must jointly take immediate action to curb this axis of evil
