Peskov confirmed that exit rules from the Russian Federation have been tightened for workers in certain regions

Since February 2022, the rules for leaving Russia abroad have been tightened for employees in certain industries. This was stated by the official representative of the Kremlin and the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov during a conversation with the British edition of the Financial Times (FT).
“There are stricter rules for that. Somewhere they are formalized, somewhere they depend on a specific decision (…) on specific employees,” Peskov said.
According to him, Russia has tightened restrictions on foreign travel for those working in “sensitive” areas. FT reports that we talk about areas where work may be related to access to confidential or classified information.
A Financial Times report claims that Russian security services are seizing the passports of senior officials, former officials and heads of state-owned companies to prevent foreign travel.
Previously, Yevgeny Prigozhin, businessman and founder of PMC Wagner, proposed at the legislative level to ban deputies and officials of the Russian Federation from going on vacation abroad during the NWO in Ukraine.The Peskov post confirmed that exit rules from the Russian Federation have been tightened for workers in some regions.
