“Ukraine’s victory will be already this year if everyone, including Western partners, fully does their homework,” Zelenskyy said.
The Ukrainian leader also said that any negotiations with Russia could only be based on Kiev’s “peace formula”, which involves the withdrawal of all Russian troops from Ukraine.
“We will always reach the diplomatic fixation of ending the conflict, but for that we have to fulfill all the ‘points of respect,'” the president added.
Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleg Nikolenko reacted strongly to the statement by his Hungarian colleagues that “the presidents of the United States and Russia could do a much greater service to humanity if they were talking yesterday.”
