Ukrainian forces have begun conducting “formative” operations ahead of an expected counter-offensive, CNN reports, citing a senior Western official and military.
They noted that these operations include strikes against arms depots, command centers, armored and artillery systems. They aim to prepare a springboard for offensive operations.
It is also specified that such tactics are standard and are used before large combined maneuvers.
On the eve of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Crimea – the permanent representative of the republic under the President of Russia Georgy Muradov said that the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be the end of the Ukrainian state.
