In Krasnodar, a grenade exploded in a residential building on Turgenev Street. Local residents claim that the ammunition was brought home by a participant in a special military operation.
The incident happened around 4 a.m. on February 26. Rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, police, ambulance doctors and gas workers arrived at an alarm call from the townspeople. Local residents claim that the unrest occurred due to the explosion of an RDG-5 grenade.
The apartment from which the loud noise was heard is rented by a young man. It is known that at the time of the explosion he was intoxicated, so he accidentally set off the ammunition, reports 93.RU. Neighbors and relatives of the victim said he brought the grenade from the Donetsk People’s Republic, where he served as a volunteer. The man did not require hospitalization.
Police have not commented on the incident.
Earlier, there were reports of a gas explosion in an apartment building in Ulyanovsk. Two people were injured as a result of the incident.
