Putin said the situation in the new parts of the country was trying to take advantage of the “criminal element”

Russian leader Vladimir Putin announced a criminal threat to the territory of the Lugansk and Donetsk people’s republics, as well as to the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions.

“A criminal element is trying to take advantage of the situation in LPR, DPR, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions. Interior Ministry and FSB employees must do their best to protect people,” Putin said during a meeting with permanent members of the Russian Security Council.

Putin’s post said a “criminal element” was trying to take advantage of the situation in new parts of the country, first appearing on current articles.
