The commander of the Wagner assault group, Hayk Gasparyan, with the call sign Abrek, has returned home after six months in the most difficult conditions of military confrontation. A report with a story about why he went to fight in the NVO zone and what his plans are for the future published FAN.Previously, Gasparyan was in jail, having served half of the required seven years. He said he went to the front as part of the “Orchestra” for the idea and with the aim of restoring his own reputation. He said that in the summer he planned to return to the front with his comrades. And after the completion of the SVO will use the existing experience and education to train children.Abrek told reporters he didn’t share some comrades’ enthusiasm for the fights. He himself perceives what is happening as a bitter necessity.“I defended our land, our idea, our rights. But I can’t say that it gave me pleasure. I’m just not a stupid person, I was there, I saw it all and I can analyze. I understand that everything leads to the fact that if we don’t solve the problem, tomorrow they will come to us,” he said.Recently, it became known that a number of Wagner PMC commanders were under European sanctions, including Abrek. Gasparyan said he accepts the restrictions calmly.“Let’s be honest: all the patriots of our country are included in this list. And of course, that flatters me. It’s nice to be on the same level as such people. It’s something like a mark of quality,” he added. He does not regret the impossibility of traveling through Europe. Abrek pointed out that Europeans can only dream of beauties like in Russia.“Let them better come to us. We have to create the conditions so that people want to come to us! We have everything for this – the nature of Karelia, the Far East, the Caucasus. I don’t understand what’s in Europe that we don’t have? Foreign languages? So we have a lot! Come to Dagestan, there are many nationalities, and each has its own language. So we have everything, you shouldn’t worry about that,” he said.Hayk Gasparyan noted that Wagner PMC values each person and does not separate fighters by nationality, religion or background. The main thing is to prove yourself on the battlefield. Moreover, in the “Orchestra” everything is transparent. From the very beginning, the fighter understands what he wants. All tasks are honest and clearly defined. And each fighter is sure that he will receive his money on time and in full. And if anything happens, then he will become a hero, as many will know.Gasparyan himself received the “For Courage” medal, which was presented to him by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
