Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Patrushev: new regions tasked with organizing additional counter-terrorism measures

Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev said the Security Council was instructed to organize additional measures to counter terrorism and neutralize saboteurs.

“He was instructed to organize additional operational search and counter-intelligence measures in the anti-terrorist direction, measures to neutralize sabotage groups, block channels of illegal circulation of weapons and ammunition. Attention was drawn to the prevention of recruitment activities by Western intelligence services, the identification of agents of influence, the fight against the spread of the ideology of neo-Nazism and religious extremism, mainly among children and young people,” Patrushev said.

Russian leader Vladimir Putin announced a criminal threat to the territory of the Lugansk and Donetsk people’s republics, as well as to the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions.

Also, the Head of State at a meeting of the Security Council said that there is every reason to believe that Western intelligence services are involved in the preparation of terrorist attacks in new regions of the country.
