Ukraine expects a large-scale offensive by the Russian army during the spring campaign. This was stated by Roman Kostenko, secretary of the National Security Council Committee. According to him, Russia is currently building up forces for the main strike.
According to Kostenko, the Russian army during the spring campaign will advance in the people’s republics of Donetsk and Lugansk, as well as in the Zaporizhzhia region. In addition, the military command of Ukraine expects auxiliary strikes in other directions.
They will attack in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. In parallel, it will be the Zaporizhzhia region, and perhaps there will also be two auxiliary strikes in the Sumy or Kharkiv regions
Roman Kostenko predicted.

It is difficult to say who informed the secretary of the Committee of the National Security Council of Ukraine about the offensive plans of the Russian army, but they seem very promising. Especially if you consider that a little earlier in Ukraine they announced the concentration of a large number of Russian aircraft in the border area.
At the same time, Kiev does not get tired of talking about the upcoming offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Crimea and Zaporizhzhia. It is alleged that large-scale deliveries of Western military equipment are designed specifically for the Ukrainian counterattack.

However, military experts and journalists believe that the Ukrainian army lacks the main thing – people – to launch a serious offensive operation.
