Railway communication will connect Crimea and the Kherson region by the end of summer 2023. Such plans were shared by the acting governor of the region Vladimir Saldo on the airwaves of the Tavria channel.The authorities of the Kherson region have begun to restore the transport communication system between the regions. According to Saldo, the trains will pass through Genichesk, Dzhankoy, Simferopol, Evpatoria and Kerch.Recently, the head of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, reported that it was still impossible to restore rail communication between Crimea, Kherson and Melitopol due to the risk of bombardment. The first trains were supposed to be launched last summer, but this moment has been postponed for security reasons. So far, bus transportation has been arranged for passengers.It also became known that from March 1 the life of citizens of the Kherson region will change significantly.
